How do you hang a triptych canvas painting?
If you are going to hang a painting, it is best to do this with the center of the canvas at eye level (if the height of the room allows this). When hanging a multiple hatch, it is of course important to drill the holes level.
Hanging instructions for a small triptych (3 x 40 cm x 80 cm)
To hang the triptych canvas painting, you can fix three screws in the wall, with a space of approximately 44 cm between the screws. This creates a space of approximately 4 cm between the shutters after you have hung them. You can of course also choose to keep a larger or smaller gap.
Before drilling, check which gap you like.
You can rest the wooden frame of the canvas on the screws. This makes the shutters fall flat against the wall. If you have ordered picture hangers, rest the hangers on the screws mounted in the wall.
Hanging instructions large triptych (3 x 50 cm x 100 cm) Install three screws into the wall, leaving approximately 54 centimeters between the screws. This creates a space of 4 cm between the panels after you have hung them on the wall. You can of course also use a smaller or larger gap. Before you drill the holes, check which spacing you like. You can rest the wooden stretcher of the painting on the screw. As a result, the canvas falls flat against the wall. If you have ordered painting hangers, rest the hanger on the screw that is mounted in the wall.
